We have entered orbit around the Prudus homeworld. Spacefleet has tasked us with first contact relations with this species because of their vast empire built on the trade of Triligite, a potent enzyme used by most breweries on Earth. We hope to make a good first impression as I hear their monarchy is very conservative.
Captain's Log - Supplemental:
First impressions were a bit stiff, but things are looking up. The emperor's daughter, Princess Valia, has offered to give us a tour of their various Triligite factories. Oddly enough, the Prudus use the enzyme in the production of various heat isolation polymers. My cooper has joined us on this tour. Perhaps we might exchange some of our culture and knowledge.

We have been pushing our warp drives at 110% for the last five hours. I only hope reports of Prudus ships having a max speed of Warp 7 is correct. The royal skiff giving chase is relentless. If we don't make it, please remember that all accusations about my disrespect of the Princess and my incontinence are false - fabrications, I say!

We have reached the Nebulus system with time to spare. Our thrusters were acting up a bit upon entry, but my engineer assures me it's a minor glitch. The fusion matrix simply needs realignment. It seems our last encounter with the Zirkist left more than just a scratch on our port side.
Captain's Log - Supplemental:
It appears that our science officer has entered her bi-yearly mating cycle. Last report saw her running into one the Jefferies Tubes on deck D. Ensign Kovalski has already been mated with. The doc says he'll need a week to recover. The scratches are quite extensive. I have ordered the crew to carry sidearms at all time until the matter is resolved. I have personally combed the tubes on three decks and have yet to encounter her. I will need an extra dose of benzatol to treat the nasty cold I contracted while doing my search rounds. I guess running around in my underware wasn't a good idea. And I got a rose thorn splinter stuck in my bottom lip.

What's with all the Sonic the Hedgehog art? Why doesn't Mario or Shamus or Link get THAT much attention?! What has Sonic done anyway to get all this praise? All he does is run away, and hits walls at high velocity! Sonic SUCKS!
